I’m reminded of when Bruce Timm was given a Superman cartoon after his Batman cartoon. He was a good Batman writer, not a good Superman writer. He didn’t really know where to go with the character.
The same applies to Tim Burton, and his version of Superman.
What I’m saying is that Warner Bros. should be getting someone else. Especially if they want a cohesive universe like The Avengers and still keeps its characters distinct.
